
Raising Money for Music!
The Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District only funds a fraction of the operating costs of the Samohi Music Programs. In order to purchase music, instruments, equiment and instruction for our students, we depend on the generosity and support of parents and community members. Please give generously to ensure that the students in Santa Monica will continue to grow and learn through participation in music ensembles!

Marching Band Dues In order to run a marching band, there a numerous expenses that are not covered by the school district - some examples include: transportation costs for equipment, specialized instruction, drill and music preparation, uniform cleaning and maintenance, and entry fees. The dues help cover what the band is not able to fund raise. |
