The 2008 Show - Come Together!
The 2008 Field Show will feature the music of the Fab 4! In a move away from "artsy" and "serious" music, the Samohi Viking Marching Band will perform some of the most popular, creative, and enduring music of all time - the music of the Beatles!
With copyright permission secured through Hal Leonard (the print right manager), Carl Hammer has once again prepared our custom arrangements. They will include Come Together; Eleanor Rigby; Here, There and Everywhere; Here Comes the Sun; and All You Need Is Love. The visual book will be composed by Peter Gomez.
The parade march will be The Stars and Stripes Forever - Sousa!.
Of course, the band will continue to perform its regular line up of school songs and stand tunes.
